BBC的播音员自然是字正腔圆的，不过战地记者就难讲了。这个lisp严重的记者是NPR的，不是BBC的，是美国人。我抓狂的样子。。。hehe，很难看呀很难看。:-P Jody Foster是好像有点lisp。一般他们演员上表演课都会使劲纠正的，大概她出名时年纪小，就觉得自己不必练发音了。

Fox News是有名的右派，基本上所有的节目都是保守派的，然后恬着脸管自己叫"fair and balanced." 我从来不看，否则肯定又抓狂。我喜欢看The Daily News with Jon Stewart，嬉笑怒骂搞笑报新闻，比假正经的新闻都好看。不用说Jon Stewart是左派的。

Sean Connery的发音里s像sh，是他自己有lisp的毛病，跟苏格兰口音没有直接关系。我对这个比较受不了。美国这里的NPR(national public radio)有个派到巴格达的记者，lisp好严重，每次我一边开车一边听他说话都抓狂！

我爱苏格兰，顺便也爱上苏格兰口音了。RL Steveson的某些小说里对话用当地的土话写的，读的时候要不时地查看书后面的注解。Conan Doyle也是苏格兰人。

师太几十年如一日地推崇白衬衫珍珠链，那不是她有品位，不过是懒罢了，光顾着写豆腐干抄人电视剧集骗钱，大概成日开着van送子女上学上钢琴课，过着suburban soccer mom的日子，没功夫没兴趣没机会跟上时代啦。

穿衣的品位那是给凡夫俗子用来扬长避短的，生的美穿什么都好看，生的平庸才需要费尽心机地遮丑。

小时候的事我都记不得了，难得Helen写得这么历历在目。想想那时候的各种小小委屈，在生活简单的小孩子心里就是天大的伤心了。我都不敢（不愿？）多回想，感觉老复杂的。

我边看白金的书评边拼命点头，真的，我完全同意。Kurt Wallander 这个人物写得特别好，特别真实，让我特别代入。他个性里有软弱和自卑的一面，而且不会处理人际关系，包括跟异性的关系，有时不免当鸵鸟，有时又会发脾气，我都代入得不得了，简直说到我的心坎儿里了。他给拉托维亚的女友写情书，写完了心里一慌，又撕了扔到海里。他对世界上的黑暗面感到愤怒、困惑和无能为力，然后埋头干手上的案子，正是我喜欢的那类型。

现在跳回去看Faceless Killers, 才知道原来Linda也是个问题少女。唉。几本书串起来看，看人物发展和世事变迁，真好啊。
