笑大你又来陷害我。慕尼黑的问题很复杂，牵扯很广，写起来大费周章。最近的几部片子都有些内部联系，包括Syriana, A History of Violence, Munich, Cache。A History of Violence 甚至跟七剑在讨论暴力的道德本质上也有关系。Sharon病危，让我再次怀疑上帝铁了心跟中东地区的和平作对。

昨晚看完了七剑 (长得要命)。小小的感想一下。七剑是接着“刀”(哪一年的？99？)沿袭下来的一部片子。这中间有没有其他类似作品我不知道，很久没有关注香港电影了。两部片子有很明显的关系。一是他继续讨论“武”的涵意和implications。在刀里面，徐克就提出以武功代表的暴力的黑暗面，可以说是类似“unforgiven”那样的对武侠神话的反思--因为练武所以有冤冤相报的命运。不过刀后来的结论还是武功的必要性。在七剑里，一开始练武也是个禁区，皇帝不准百姓练武，跟刀一开始赵文卓的师父不让徒弟练武呼应，不过和平主义的虚伪和无用在七剑里是立刻就阐述的。所以似乎徐克这次比较旗帜鲜明地站在习武的立场，态...

上大学英文课时一个教授给我们讲个故事：一条船上几个人，包括一个音乐家，一个律师，一个工程师，一个科学家，一个什么什么，船载太重要扔下去几个，先扔谁。大家一致先扔律师，然后，我本着科学青年的精神，支持扔音乐家下去。

艺术对社会和人民的重要性，大家看法不同。作家被移民局瞧不起，不奇怪。你看周星驰被加拿大移民局屡次拒绝就知道了(虽然借口是他跟黑社会有关系)，多么白痴啊。

正在看杜琪峰的黑社会和徐克的七剑。可惜七剑不是原声的，是粤语配音的版本，里面的人我大都不认识，除了勉强认出黎明，还有刘师父。

看了成龙的神话。他真是几十年如一日啊，不过血腥程度大大提高了。

NPR也没几天好蹦达了。CPB，就是管NPR和PBS的总公司，现在的头头换成了一个保守派人士，而且据说这两年自上而下搞了一些内部调查，收集的数据都是NPR上反映(perceived)左派观点是否太多，是否被相应的右派观点平衡("fair and balanced" as in FoxNews standards?)，等等。不需要政府来censor，他们自己内部就开始搞肃反了，真是自觉的好孩子啊。

I can't say I like her writing per se, but I respect her for being able to write about very intense feelings and stories. I know I cannot do it myself. Nevertheless, just from an outsider's point of view, nobody in the legitimate medical business is getting rich from traffiking donated organs. IMO.

第二，不论别人觉得她的叙述是否真实可信，我感觉她在主观上是诚恳的。我不敢跟别人拉上“同辈”，但是我只说自己，可以说经历过比较类似的时代和环境。我自己没有类似的童年和少年印象，不等于她的强烈的受害者印象就不是valid，而是故意地歪曲现实。她选择的题材或许是她在编辑中成功的客观因素之一，但她的动机未必是投机的。

六四时我不住在北京但是住在北京的或许有比较深的trauma。而且我觉得她有种代入感，或许是小时候看的枪毙人的场面留下的印象，让她不自主地认同和代入文革受害者角色。我记得小时候学校领着看过的南京大屠杀的展览，可以算是我自己的childhood trauma。

西方的文学读者，看多了象牙塔里神经质的大学语文教授跟女学生上床的故事，纽约知识分子的alienation，一样觉得陈腐，当然这种故事和讲故事的口气都是新鲜的，震撼的。

而且我坚决支持他们写这些小说和文章的愿望和权力，我不认为他们写是为了投人所好。没有人会喜欢写这种故事的。至于独创性和文学价值，或许没有被推崇的那么好，但那是另一回事，那是编辑和读者自己的事。

我跟她是同一代人，反正我自己写不出来。
